Marsen Jules Trio contributed a track to KOMPAKT Japan benefit compilation
The Marsen Jules Trio has contributed a track to a benefit compilation for Japan that the lovely folks over at KOMPAKT have put together. The track, OEillet Parfait, was recently released as part of the "Les Fleurs Variations" EP and now headlines the 34 track compilation from KOMPAKT. You can purchase the whole compilation with 34 tracks from a variety of artists for a total of 8 € at KOMPAKT's Bandcamp website.

Marsen Jules Trio, "Les Fleurs Variations" out now!
We are proud to announce the first official release of the Marsen Jules Trio, "Les Fleurs Variations". After playing live with his two friends Jan-Philip and Anwar Alam for years, it is now time for the trio to release their first EP, which consists of four beautiful re-workings of Marsen Jules' timeless masterpiece "Les Fleurs". Marsen Jules Trio, "Les Fleurs Variations" EP coming soon
We are happy to announce that we are in the final stage of putting together our first release on OKTAF for 2011. The digital only EP, to be released at the end of this month, will be called "Les Fleurs Variations". The four track digital only EP will be the debut by the Marsen Jules Trio. For the EP, Marsen Jules gets accompanied by Jan-Philipp and Anwar Alam on violin and piano, who enrich his dense ambient sounds with their organic play.
